We combine rapid prototype manufacturing with low-volume production support, helping your team evaluate designs and prepare for the next stage of product development.
Who We Are
GD Prototyping Technology (HK) Ltd, known as GD Prototyping, is a rapid prototyping company with manufacturing resources in Dongguan, China. We support custom parts from design validation to low-volume production, helping engineering and procurement teams balance functional requirements with manufacturing cost.
Critical fits, visible surfaces, and material requirements shape the manufacturing plan.
We evaluate machining, printing, casting, or molding around part geometry and quantity.
We weigh setup, tooling, and finishing costs against order quantity and expected design changes.
Project managers follow production progress and coordinate technical questions through to delivery.

Factory & Equipment
Our manufacturing resources cover CNC machining, industrial 3D printing, casting, sheet metal fabrication, and mold making. ZEISS and HEXAGON coordinate measuring machines, optical systems, and workshop gauges support dimensional verification.
Company Timeline
Our manufacturing operations began with seven CNC machines.
Began expanding into European and U.S. markets.
Introduced two five-axis machines and three vacuum casting machines.
Introduced 3D measuring equipment to support dimensional inspection.
Established a third factory and added three five-axis CNC machines.
Established a fourth factory and installed two electrical discharge machines.
Added a MIKRON five-axis machining center to our equipment resources.
Added ten five-axis machines to expand machining capacity.
From Prototype to Low-Volume Production
As a prototyping and manufacturing partner, we coordinate samples, design feedback, and batch production around your project stage. Materials, quantities, and approval requirements guide each next step.

Review CAD files, drawings, quantities, and critical requirements to prepare the quotation and manufacturing approach.

Machine, print, or cast prototypes using the agreed material and process for your evaluation.

Your team evaluates the prototypes. We review requested changes and confirm the next design revision.

Plan the agreed batch around approved drawings, material requirements, and production quantities.

Complete specified surface treatments and verify agreed dimensions and appearance requirements before release.

Protect finished parts, identify package contents, and coordinate shipment to the agreed destination.

Our Mission & Manufacturing Philosophy
Our approach to rapid prototyping and manufacturing starts with a part’s intended use. We bring material and process decisions into the design conversation, helping your team understand which details affect fit, appearance, and production cost.

Concentrate tolerance control on the dimensions that determine fit and performance.
Raise manufacturability questions early and explain their cost or process implications.
Support NDA arrangements for customer drawings and project information.
Use production feedback to refine methods and address recurring manufacturing issues.
